‘Screamadelica’ is the third album by Scottish rock band Primal Scream, and was released in September 1991 on Creation Records. ‘Screamadelica’ won the first Mercury Music Prize in 1992, and was a significant musical departure for the band from their previous sound, being more alternative dance in its style. It is seen now as a classic album from the early 1990s, and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.
