Stevie Wonder’s much acclaimed album was released in 1973, and marks his full transition from the chart singles act that he was so successfully in the 1960s to a more mature albums artist. The compositions, lyrics and most production were all carried out by Wonder, and on many of the tracks he plays all the instruments. The album flows as one from first to last, and features the iconic tracks ‘Higher Ground’, ‘Living for the City’, ‘Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing’ and ‘He’s Misstra Know-It-All’.
