Released in June 1986, this is The Smiths’ third album. It was produced by Morrissey and Johnny Marr, with Stephen Street as the engineer, and it spent 22 weeks in the UK albums chart. It has since been praised by critics and music journalists as one of the most complete indie rock albums ever made.
